Kyle is a widower and is raising his four children on his own. He owns a large piece of property in the hills of West Virginia as he struggles to make ends meet. He once had a high paying job working in a mine and that closed down. At this point in time Kyle is in foreclosure on his property because he is behind on his mortgage and property taxes. Sabrina on the other hand is a grifter and she is working for the people that want to take Kyle’s property. Sabrina comes from a broken home and has never had a loving family. Love is what she always prayed for growing up and it never became a reality. Sabrina starts out scheming with her partner but slowly starts falling in love with Kyle and his family. What can Sabrina do to earn Kyle’s trust and what has to transpire for love to find a way? Maybe wishing upon a shooting star is sign that someone is listening and answering your prayers.
