Waking up with amnesia is bad. Finding out you’re a witch is weird. But learning that two dangerously gorgeous vampires from a past you can’t remember are obsessed with you? That’s an odd Tuesday even for Red. She’s just trying to piece her life together, one monster hunt at a time, with her cranky-but-caring mentor.

Then a case in LA throws her into the path of Lucas, the brooding, souled vampire from her dreams, and Kristoff, the dangerously charming club owner who claims her with a bite. Both men seem to think she’s a woman who died a century ago. Both are determined to make her theirs. Caught between forgotten history and a deadly supernatural conspiracy, Red must choose a side before her past gets her killed.

A Witch Called Red is the gripping first book in The Red Witch Chronicles urban fantasy series. If you love supernatural thrills, angsty love triangles, and intense chemistry, you’ll love Sami Valentine’s page-turning story.

it's a good story, I enjoyed the plot a lot and I'm excited to read the next book. not a fan of the virtual voice though.

Love the story

The narration of this book was atrocious. Had the wrong inflections in the wrong places. And sounded very mechanical throughout.
For the writing? Book jumped from one scene to the next and had you rewinding to make sure you didn't miss something. Continuously introduced new characters out of nowhere. No world building so you can't really connect to the characters. I won't be bothering myself with any other AI narrated books in the future. And I'm sorry but I won't be listening or reading another of this author s books.

The very boring and unemotional narrative
