Sometimes, love is devilishly complicated....

When Raya the witch goes to Paris to up her witchcraft game, the demon Phoenix follows her—much to her annoyance. She knows better than to fall for a sarcastic, devil-may-care pleasure-seeker like him…or so she thinks.

Everything bores Phoenix beyond words—except Raya. Not that he’d ever admit it, even to himself. But when he accidentally eats enchanted macarons, all hell breaks loose—and Raya is the only one who can save him from a relentless witch who’s out to imprison all of demonkind.

If only they could stop arguing with each other.

This is Book Two in the Supernatural Sweethearts series, which begins with A Good Demon Is Hard to Find.

The second volume in the Supernatural Sweetheart series takes place in the glittering City of Lights, with an exciting side trip into the French countryside. Raya and Phoenix are back at it, bantering all day and night and refusing to see just how perfect they are for each other - until a witch with a nefarious plan unites them.

With the help of the supernatural denizens of Paris, including a demon barkeeper, an angel who runs a bakery, and a long-hidden guardian angel who lives in the catacombs, they must save all demonkind from peril.

The narrator, Hollie Jackson, is fantastic and makes the most of the gleefully witty dialogue. The story moves along at a wonderful pace, much like watching a romantic comedy in the movie theater. A great follow-up to A Good Demon Is Hard to Find and I can’t help wondering if we might see more pairings to come in this universe.

Highly recommended for fans of paranormal romantic comedy!
