A World Apart Review

I’m completely hooked. A World Apart is an emotional and compelling start to the Between Worlds series, and listening to it as an audiobook made the experience feel even more personal.

From the beginning, I felt deeply connected to the story, to the point where I truly felt like the FMC while listening. The characters feel real, the emotions run deep, and the world-building is vivid without being overwhelming. Even though I’ve read the physical copy multiple times, the audiobook heightened my imagination and made the story feel new again.

Kyo Sija’s narration adds so much depth and emotion, making the experience incredibly immersive.

By the end, I wasn’t quite ready to leave this world—and I’m very much looking forward to continuing the series.

I love the story.It's an easy read , and very enjoyable. from the moment I picked it up , I could not put it down.

All around true relationships

A wonderful love story but what really stood out was the friendship between characters. So real and hopeful. Such a good book.

What to say about this. I love it and have continued to love it the more times I read it. It was by far my favorite read of 2025. I have re-read this at least 3 times. Now 4 if you include the audiobook. I will not stop recommending this. One of the main reasons being, despite being something that would most likely NEVER happen in real life. It becomes so relatable by the way this written. The reader can relate to the Ky so much. Not to mention the 2nd book blew me away as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Its just spicy enough to be satisfying but not so much that its over the top. Plus it doesn't hurt that the author herself is so down to earth and and absolute jewel of a person! I will be a lifetime reader from just this book alone, nevermind about the second one which is just as engaging if not more. Love, love, love, waiting impatiently for book 3. Give it a try you won't be sorry!

The audiobook did not fail to deliver. it was everything i wanted it to be. Maybe we will get a male actor for book 2? 😆
