Ed Dies;
In less time than it takes for Tim to say “Whoops”, he is about six or seven feet above a strange scene! He is on his stomach, looking straight down on some strange goings on below him! However, whatever is taking place below him is not what captures his total attention! He is suddenly, and almost violently jerked into a totally alternative awareness that is totally foreign to him! Foreign … yet totally …. familiar to him! He instantly knew that he had never “been here” before … yet ... he also somehow knew he was ‘home.’ No! Wait! Not ‘home.’ But rather … BACK HOME!
IT FELT LIKE HOME!

Tim Dies;
As the ugly darkness that gathered around his deathbed fades into blotchy blackness tinted with red flashes, Tim is surprised to find himself standing in the middle of what looks like a pathway. It is unlike anything he has ever encountered in life. It personally feels not nothing he has ever imagined, nothing he has language to explain. The first thing he notices is that the pathway is covered with what looks like red hot coals. The next thing he noticed is the excruciating pain that he feels in his feet. The horrid pain slowly radiates all the way up to the top of his head, or what he thinks is his head. It suddenly dawns on him that he is barefooted and standing in hot coals. The next thing is that the air is like molten metal. He seems to be wrapped in the burning heat. The pain is unbearable! He tries to lift 1 foot at a time up out of the burning coals, but this does not seem to lessen the pain. He senses a deep awareness of horror and aloneness. He realizes, somehow, that he's not really alone, but is in a place that is totally hostile to everything that he is as a human being. All the horror that envelops him seems to reach out and wrap itself around him with fiery tentacles. He's conscious of other creatures around him. He cannot actually see them, but he can sense them. They seem to squeeze in on him, causing him some nameless horror!
