Too much old and wrong information and inaccurate test questions!

Needs to be updated. Information is outdated. Most current tests do not focus on this stuff.

I think this is well to put together and helps with passing your certification. I think it needs more up to date questions so if you add this to other study guides.

Comprehensive but a little outdated.

Needs some updates though provides basic understanding. The audio is clean and crispy in description. The guy sounds a little drunk at times but I would be too reading books out loud all day. Thanks!

After listing to the "ASE A2" Audiolearn for 3 weeks, I have come to realization that the book seams dated, full of typos, and clerical errors. To many time where I had to go back and forth between the questions and chapters to find out the answers are wrong, You can not remove a torque converter and test drive a vehicle (Chapter 13 Question #33). In chapter 5 page 68, I'm not sure what these "codes" are in reference to unless you are referencing to the OBD1 then it should be clarified. The information that is given is good to a certain point. It Feels like the it was written 20 years ago when four speed transmissions where in everything with the brake bands was needed, and the computer controlled valve bodies and logic systems didn't exist. There is good information here to learn, however to an entry level Tech who is reading this and have little understanding of transmissions will be left confused when put in a real world situation. Over all read the book, pass your test, but don't take this book to heart.
