Sensational, deviant, gruesome and explicit. There’s only one trial that trumps everything we’ve ever seen before in a courtroom. One trial that delivers in every department from shock value, to controversy, to erotica, to whopper-sized manipulation. That legal circus stocked with WTF’s belongs to none other than the Jodi Arias trial. Although Jodi takes center stage as the cold-blooded and shockingly haughty killer, in every main player in this narrative there is one characteristic that simply can’t be avoided and yes, it’s AUDACITY. The authors have concentrated their efforts in highlighting the worst of the many audacious moments and personalities... and you’ll find the results of their analysis spans from horrifying to hilarious. The Jodi Arias trial is a staggering display of a brazen premeditated murder. But what was the motive? Was it merely a case of an embittered girlfriend trying to have the last word, putting the final twist into the last nail in a coffin of a failed relationship? AUDACITY puts not only the most jaw dropping of Jodi's unprecedented 18 days on the stand under the microscope, the narrative also seeks to show the bloody incident as it really happened on the afternoon of June 4, in Mesa, Arizona. In AUDACITY California's Lisa Wilson – the very same True Crime maestro who co-authored three bestselling Oscar Pistorius Trial narratives in 2014 – is back dissecting through the minutiae of the Jodi Arias case. Teaming up with South African photojournalist and bestselling True Crime detective, Nick van der Leek, both writers reveal not only fresh insights into this case, but they also uncover many disquieting similarities to the Oscar Pistorius Trial. If you're still fascinated by the innumerable gaffes in the Jodi Arias trial, if you've been riveted by the Oscar trial, and if compelling True Crime is simply your poison, then this book is for you. If you can get over the AI voice, which is hard, as you get further into this book, it becomes clear the writers were really using this story as a platform to talk more about the evils of organized religion than the actual details of Jodi or Travis. Don’t get me wrong, the murder is talked about quite a bit but be ready for a more than healthy dose of theology as well. I found myself skipping some of it as it felt long winded at times, though that may have been due to the AI voice as much as the subject matter. If you’re looking for a read solely about the murder, it’s not the book for you.

The facts are interesting, but as a whole, it's poorly written. Grammatically inaccurate and seems like it's written by a 9th grade student.

Not well written.
