A beautiful and necessary study. I’m grateful this book was written. I have a greater understanding of not only the biblical text, but the millions of women who have had to cling hard to their faith, while living on the margins, believing that what they were told about how God viewed them may not be the whole story.

A book that will draw you in and keep you there

I love the interplay of personal story, recent history and biblical texts to build the concept of Abuelita Faith. A beautiful work giving voice to an overlooked tradition.

I love the book and I'm glad to see there's more people like me that you never really fit in because you are a part of two cultures. it really took me back to times with my Abuelita as a child and growing up. wonderful going down memory lane😍

I enjoyed and learned so much from this book about women in the Bible and how they exemplified an abuelita faith. This book intertwines the story of the authors grandmother throughout the book giving it the perfect personal touch.
