hot romantic story with strong leads and beautiful Vietnam

Loved the story. I expected a romance with descriptions of famous Vietnam tourist destinations and foods, and I got it and enjoyed it. What I did not expect and was pleasantly surprised by were the strong leads, humorous dialogues and sexy scenes that feel age appropriate: the leads are in their early thirties and act like it.

Thrilling, new, unexpected in the genre

I couldn’t put this book down. I enjoyed the cultural and historical insights presented in the narrative without needing to “set the scene”. I enjoyed the characters development and the author’s approach guides empathy. I don’t do romances, but this feels romance adjacent in an empowered and non-gushy way.
