Love is color blind…

I won this audiobook in a giveaway, and it’s the first time I’ve become acquainted with this author’s work. I thought she did a good job in showing how peer pressure, and immaturity can play a significant role when you’re in high school. The MMC made some bad choices because of it, and ended up behind bars. He had a lot of time to think about his mistakes, and how to correct them. One being how he mistreated the MFC. Sometimes the harm you inflict on others can last a lifetime…but I guess you’ll just have to read the book to find out what happened next.🤫 My only complaint is, I didn’t care for all the profanity….😱

This story was raw. I think this author is brave and interesting. Loved it ... the slow burn and Adrian's path to redemption.

WTH?

First, he can't remember her name, then he used it before preceding to ask what is her name. The narration is bad, but after a while, I manage to get past that. Then after all he goes through for a year he never actually proposed. Could you at the very least end with a wedding and a birth or maybe a pregnancy vice just another sex scenario?

I could listen to Chris Merlin’s voice all day. His gravelly masculine timbre is at once soothing and SEXY ♥️. Arian Scorpio King covers the strong themes of racism, bullying, love, and redemption all while not taking itself too seriously so as not to be triggering. All this wrapped in a HEA package 🎁.

My only thought as I listened and laughed at this was- how did this get published? I wouldn’t even call this multicultural since the MMC is definitely a racist but that is all excused bc he gives good head. What? 🤣🙄😳
