FINALLY! A book that puts the thought to the test, and the funniest of outcomes!

Have you ever imagined, or even dreamed of being the heroine of your own romance story? To have the adventures from a book you enjoy?

Well, Adventures of a Bookworm is the answer. Absolute laugh out loud banter and events of four bookworm friends and a resolution to live out the fantasy. Paige Turner, our heroine, forges forward to be no longer a virgin and to find the kind of love that she reads in her books. Being a fan of romance books and the many styles of books, Paige tries to recreate the meet-cutes and events to meet the hero to the heroine, so to speak. From billionaire bosses to BDSM to furries, Paige sets out to try them all to find love... with the bonus of losing her virginity. The mishaps that follow each attempt will have you laughing out loud. A totally enjoyable read and highly recommended! I can't wait for the next book!

Beautifully Hilarious.

I love all of Kathleen's books. Paige Turner is a new favorite. I love how it is different from her Bluegrass stories. however, you do hear small parts of her other stories, as we love!

A very fun romp!

I have read all of Kathleen Brooks' books, as I love her character development, the humor, the suspense, and the banter between the characters. This book is apparently her first venture into rom-com, and I was delighted with it. If I hadn't known going in that Ms Brooks was the author, I would never have guessed. It is very different from her previous books. However, it has many of the same qualities: great character development, nonstop action, and wonderful banter between the characters.

The narration on this book is particularly good, and that makes all the difference in the world! I'm very much looking forward to the next book in this series.

Fun read / listen

Another hit from Kathleen Brooks. This is a campy trope filled book with tons of different tropes that all work together. This book pokes fun of the romance genre including some of the authors other works in a way that is fun and not taking itself too seriously. The reference to her other works is funny and done well In a subtle way that if you haven't read her other books you wouldn't even know it was a reference. This book works a a stand alone if you haven't read her other works, I'm excited for the eventual sequel it will get. This book may come a cross as cheesey to some but is set up that way from the sample available to listen to, If you like the sample you'll probably like this book.

I seriously could not put this book down. It was a great read. Lots of unexpected moments mixed in with being caught laughing out loud multiple times.
