Terrific Story & Listen🎧Fascinating & Smoking🔥Hot!

This is my first book written by Melissa Sercia and consider me wowed, she penned a steamy, fantasy, paranormal romance novel, one that grabs your attention right from the start and holds it hostage the entire book. I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she creates, as well as her imaginative and fascinating take on vampires. You often see vampires who only drink blood, you rarely see them enjoy food and drink, that is not the case here, we have Ozi, a renowned chef, restaurant owner and billionaire, one who is a player and never has a shortage of women wanting to be with him. Raven grew up in the country and loves cooking, she moves to the city hoping to find a job and one day becoming a chef. Competition was tough finding a job in an upscale restaurant but she finally lands one at Ozi’s starting with waiting on tables, she is to work some of his private parties too. She had not met him yet, but when she does she was overwhelmed, and he was totally smitten with her, something about her draws him to her. Ozi has not had the best judgement when falling in love and has made mistakes, which he vows not to do again, but he finds it hard to stay away from Raven. And when his past comes back to haunt him, he needs to not only watch his back, but Raven’s too. This multi-layered and cleverly plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions, and sizzling romance. The world building and character development is fantastic, and I am looking forward to what comes next in this series, loved that it includes other paranormal beings, including an incubus, werewolf and a demon. Melissa Sercia, thank you for this great story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the terrific narration, Eliza Summers and Rock Engle were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, and they did so with the complete understanding of who these characters were, gave each a voice that fit their character’s persona, accents and all. Rock Engle did an amazing job with Ozi, the swoon worthy vampire, with that old world Italian accent. Eliza Summers grasped all sides of Raven’s personality, from her naivety and insecurities to a more determined and confident woman by the end. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance and have you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen.

Excellent Book 1

After I fall is a great vampire story, and the narrators did wonderful job bringing the story to life for me. I liked the magnetism between Ozi and Raven. I will definitely give book 2 a try when it comes out!

Paranormal Mystery

I loved this audiobook. It is not your normal paranormal romance. There are twists and turns which are so surprising. Rock Engle and Eliza Summers did a great job with the Italian accents.

Ozi and Raven

Ozi is dominate, dark, sexy vampire. He takes what he wants. Regarding women, he doesn't want a relationship, he has a reputation as a womanizer. Until he saw Raven, there is something different about her. She is constantly on his mind. He wanted her, he needed to protect her
Raven, a strong young woman who takes the chance to move to NYC from her small town. She takes a job working as a server at non other than Ozi's restaurant. Her eyes are drawn to this delicious, handsome man. There is something about him that she can't stop thinking about him.
He is sexy, mysterious, charming, but she knows there is a darkness inside him.
This story drew me in from the start. The secrets surrounding Ozi. His darkness, torment, his vulnerability shows when it comes to Raven. Secrets, regret, betrayal, in this story to keep my interest.
Ron Engle and Eliza Summers narration is very good.
