For a decade now, the world has known of the existence of the immuno-degenerative and epidermal decomposition virus (strain two). The world governments and several civilian agencies have, so far, managed to keep the unimaginable from happening. They achieved it by keeping the outbreaks under control and preventing a global pandemic.

But even the best control measures seem to be falling short, as outbreaks become more frequent and larger in scale. Hundred percent of those infected with ImDED2 die. Ryan Maxwell, a retired soldier, and his wife Victoria, a high school science teacher, have sacrificed for years to provide a good life for their family, but even the hardest working couple can run up against hard times.

However, a spur-of-the-moment purchase of a lottery ticket is about to change their lives forever. And possibly save them all.

After Z..

So I have been on Audible for a while now, found that Zombie style apocalyptic novels are my favorite. My 1st Zombie book was Mark Tufos' Zombie Fallout after that it hasn't stopped. I stumbled onto After Z by chance and let me tell you THIS book was Amazing! Has a Different start to the ZVirus than any other book that I have enjoyed. If you looking for a book that is thrilling and funny with a bit of Zombies than grab After Z.

Love me some Zombie's

I received a free audio version of this book in exchange for a review. I have to admit that I loved the book and the premise of the book but I am a sucker for a Zombie book! It says it is over 11 hours but I wanted more-wishing for a series or a movie at this point. I like the different spin the book had on the topic-not just the Walking Dead same ol same ol.

I even bought a hardcopy

Great book and loved listening to it. The narrator did a fantastic job and really did a great job with the characters. I sent this book to my friend so they could read it and keep up with the series. When is the 2nd book?

Terrific

The first 18 or so chapters, I almost gave up on this book. I'm glad I continued to listen. It didn't let me down.

It was good

Fun characters good development of characters. Rooting for the good guys is nice for a change.
