Aftermath

Sixty-five million years ago, long before humans walked the Earth, an event happened that changed the face of our planet forever. A gigantic asteroid smashed into our planet, transforming the world into a fiery furnace. In an instant, it became a wasteland. Nearly all life forms were extinguished in one massive blow, and the entire era of the Earth's history ended. But the world slowly recovered over time and began to bloom again. The age of humanity dawned, and man soon dominated the Earth. But over time, somewhere deep in the Cosmos, another asteroid prepares to strike the world and dramatically change life as we know it for a second time. Will humanity survive this aftermath, or will it perish, never to rise again?

After fragments of a massive asteroid slammed into the Earth, Jacob Smith, his wife, and young son take shelter in a renovated, underground missile silo. Then, seven years later, they emerge into a completely alien world with no cell phones, electricity, or modern conveniences. The world is coming apart and his fellow man has become his worst enemy. He soon realizes that no one is coming to help, and if he is going to survive, he must do so alone in the aftermath that was once his home.
