From one of the most followed booktubers today comes Again, but Better, a story about second chances, discovering yourself, and being brave enough to try again.

Shane has been doing college all wrong. Pre-med, stellar grades, and happy parents...sounds ideal - but Shane's made zero friends, goes home every weekend, and romance...what’s that?

Her life has been dorm, dining hall, class, repeat. Time's a ticking, and she needs a change - there's nothing like moving to a new country to really mix things up. Shane signs up for a semester abroad in London. She's going to right all her college mistakes: make friends, pursue boys, and find adventure!

Easier said than done. She is soon faced with the complicated realities of living outside her bubble, and when self-doubt sneaks in, her new life starts to fall apart.

Shane comes to find that, with the right amount of courage and determination, one can conquer anything. Throw in some fate and a touch of magic - the possibilities are endless.

I loved the plot, few mistakes in the audiobook but overall a great reading experience.

Great Story

The book is cute but I would not have been able to get through it if Brittany Pressley's narration wasn't so calming. It's hard to explain without going into spoilers but the whole book kind of felt like one of those unhealthy fantasies you have about how things could have worked with an ex if only you had done something different.

Not dealing with emotions.

I absolutely loved this story! It was adorable and relatable. It was different in a way that I was not expecting and was apprehensive of at first but ended up really enjoying. It made the story so much more than it could have been. It was nice to read a coming of age story that wasn’t set in high school or focused around a 16 year old saving the world. I can’t wait for more from this author.

I fell into this book from the very first page! With some Fangirl vibes, and the author’s uniquely entertaining voice, this story took me by surprise! I loved the awkward MC and her circuitous path to the life she was meant to make for herself. While I enjoyed the romance, which was sweet and awkward and a bit rocky, I loved that the MC’s self discovery was the real focus of the story. It’s so easy to lose yourself in the whirlwind of early adulthood expectations, and Riccio captures that beautifully. Then she sprinkles in some magic with a mid story twist (that I didn’t see coming) and rewrites the rules of her MC’s reality. This is the book I wish I had had in my late teens and early twenties! Definitely worth picking up!

A Fun Surprise!
