If you want to discover the captivating history of the Age of Discovery, then pay attention....

The Age of Discovery began in the early part of the 15th century and carried on through most of the 17th century. It is sometimes also referred to as the Age of Exploration. This was a time when the people of Europe began to travel, discover, and explore more of the world than ever before, mapping and naming the places they found. They bravely went out on the seas to learn about the world, often never sure if they would find anything at all, let alone ever return home.

The explorations made during this time would impact the shape of the world going forward in many ways. Colonization, trade, and education all changed due to the expansion of the known world, as well as international relationships.

A great start to the conflict. It describes in particular how the check part of the war was fought and why the Communist faction eventually decided to seek a truce after Stalin's death.

Short and good

The audiobook does cover a lot of areas and, at times, skirts too fast over subjects, but its strong final section more than makes up for that by truly having the confidence to offer strong opinions on and answers to some of the issues raised during the book.

A great history audible

Great for getting inside Columbus' head. How well he used the natives. Tiresome navigation info, however

Easy to follow and stimulating.

A greatly enough dose of view that does a huge job of demystifying much of the challenging nature of today's world. There is a real comfort that comes from following patterns in history, and the connection of today's world with the Renaissance era in history is very well-argued.

Recommended to all.
