A Haunting You Can’t Walk Away From

Just finished my first Ron Trentham audiobook and I'm blown away. This thing had me hooked from chapter one and didn't let go. The atmosphere is incredible, the house literally feels alive, and I caught myself holding my breath without realizing it. It's not just jump scares either, it's that slow-burn creep that sticks with you for days after you finish.
The characters felt like real people, which made the tension hit so much harder. Every chapter builds perfectly until you're completely absorbed. Phil Hulett's narration is spot-on. His voice pairs perfectly with Trentham's writing, there were moments I forgot someone was reading to me and felt like I was just living in the story.
Already hunting down more of Trentham's stuff. If you're into atmospheric horror that actually gets under your skin, seriously give this one a shot.
