Yet will completing the mission this time exact too high a price? Interesting but not what I expected

An interesting side adventure with the Roman siege of Alesia as a backdrop. A nice quick read but light on historical events (which is fine - just not what I was expecting).

The reader is solid.

I’m confused; short story or abridged version

At 1.5 hours I was confused whether this was a short story or abridged.

Either way, it’s a confusing mess of a book.
