Good overview of basic events

I thought the information was clear, though it would've been nice to have some insight into his personality and not just not the battles. The reading was mediocre.

Short history of Alexander

The book focuses on his relationship with his father, Filip and the campaign against Darius of Persia.
It's în no way a comprehensive personal history of Alexander. More like a side reading or a complementary one.
