The nowhere man eludes lawmen and posses by taking other people's identities. This time around, he assumes the mantle of a famous hangman and finds himself faced with horrific duties he would prefer not to enact. Into the melee and mix he meets a woman bounty hunter who could prove to be his salvation or his ultimate demise. The man known as the notorious outlaw, The Laredo Kid,is once again in jeopardy of being captured by the law. Escaping into Comanche Territory he is rescued by the famed hangman known as the Hangman from Hell who is killed by a gang of outlaws before a posse catches up to him. He pretends to be the hangman and finds himself having to preside over an historical hanging. A unique hanging of seven men at the same time is the prime goal of a fanatical judge. The nowhere man is torn between his impersonation of the famed hangman and his desire to stay free of the law. Excitement, gunfights and moral issues highlight this taut adventure in the old west.
