Alien Midnight is a solo journaling role-playing game where the gleaming chrome and gritty alleys of a cyberpunk future collide with the unsettling truths of a hidden, profound reality.

You'll play and write your own story at the same time. You'll write as you explore a world where technology pushes the limits of human potential, even as ancient things and reports pull at the threads of what you believe to be real,

Forget what you think you know. The bustling arcologies, the omnipresent data streams, the synthetic pleasures –they are all part of an elaborate framework. A grand Illusion crafted to keep humanity compliant and unaware. But something is shifting. Cracks are appearing in this engineered reality, and your character, a Dream Weaver, is uniquely positioned to see beyond the fabricated facade.

In Alien Midnight, your journal will become a living document, a witness to your character's experiences as they navigate a world teetering on the edge of revelation and alienation.

But be careful. This isn't about writing a novel, but rather writing while playing, or playing while writing, whichever you prefer.

You'll make difficult choices, confront unsettling truths, and perhaps even glimpse the entities that shape existence from the shadows. Your mind is your greatest asset, but also your most vulnerable point. As you peel back the layers of the Illusion, you will begin to question everything.

This game is designed for flexibility and flow. The mechanics are light, focusing on empowering your storytelling. We'll give you tools –prompts, tables, and frameworks– to ignite your imagination, but the ultimate narrative is yours to weave.
