Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

Samantha “Reena” Barker is out of her element—WAY out.

As the first (and only) human at an elite intergalactic university, Reena has somehow become an unofficial representative of the entire human race. No pressure, right? Navigating a campus full of aliens is hard enough, but add a grumpy, musically-challenged roommate to the mix, and things get seriously awkward.

Thankfully, it’s not all bad. She’s got Panda, a quirky alien friend with an endearing love for humans. And then there’s the devastatingly handsome alien prince who might just have a crush on her. Too bad his ex-girlfriend isn’t thrilled about it...

This complete collection includes all three books in the Alien U series.

It was good, kind of all over the place. kind of felt like it just ended in the middle of the story.

meh

First, the narration. Ugh. It was awful and I would give it 0 stars if possible. Terrible inflection, words mispronounced, even common ones, no distinction between characters at all are just a few of the weaknesses of AI narration.
Now to the story. I was not impressed. The casual description of violence was disturbing. This felt like it was written by a teenager. The writing didn’t flow and conversations were stilted.
Skip this one.

Human narrators have nothing to fear

The virtual speaker kills the story. I’m positive it would be received better by human inflection and voice changes. The narrator’s monotone cadence blends one person into another, so you don’t know who’s talking or when they changed people. Not recommend

Story was great, however,
