Life changing

I stumbled upon this book title by accident- funny enough on TikTok. Once I started, I could not stop. This was an amazing story of determination, and grit. Thank you to Gerda for helping tell the stories of these girls and people. They will never be forgotten. I have so much love for this book.

Wonderful story, beautifully read

The only reason for getting this book was because Barbara Rosenblat was the Narrator. I extremely enjoyed The Nazis officers wife which Rosenblat had also narrated. They way she brings these characters to life makes me feels as though I am right there witnessing what was happening. I can't wait to find my next book that she has done.

Very moving story of Gerda’s survival through devastating war, her courageous journey and the power of hope.

Amazing Story

I read this book years ago and enjoyed it again on Audible. It is so well written. I enjoyed every minute of it even the most difficult parts.
