All but My Life tells the haunting story of Gerda Weissman Klein’s experience under the Nazi regime. Taken from her home in Bielitz, Poland, and sent to German labor camps, Gerda survived and was liberated by American troops. In her memoir, Klein takes audiences on an alarming journey from the comforts of life in Poland to the horrifying concentration camps, reminding readers of the horrific destruction and prejudice during the twentieth century, while also providing a sense of hope for future generations.Original Material ©1957 Gerda Weissmann Klein; Recording (P)1997 FSG, Penguin U.S.A. 20th Century Biographies & Memoirs Judaism Military Modern Wars & Conflicts World War II Heartfelt Thought-Provoking Inspiring

I stumbled upon this book title by accident- funny enough on TikTok. Once I started, I could not stop. This was an amazing story of determination, and grit. Thank you to Gerda for helping tell the stories of these girls and people. They will never be forgotten. I have so much love for this book.

The only reason for getting this book was because Barbara Rosenblat was the Narrator. I extremely enjoyed The Nazis officers wife which Rosenblat had also narrated. They way she brings these characters to life makes me feels as though I am right there witnessing what was happening. I can't wait to find my next book that she has done.
