would have like more of the crime part of novel more developed it seemed rushed

Oh… that’s it?

Was anyone else caught off guard when “epilogue” hit?? I think the end of the story hit a little sudden but the epilogue had a nice wrap up. Is this the end of the bearded gang and friends? Who’s next?

Penny Reid Does It Again

I think it’s the narration that really rockets this listen into the excellent category. It’s just perfection.
Reid loves language and it shows in her writings. Fabulous, quirky characters set in a familiar setting weaving familiar faces into the plot. Great fun!

Isaac’s book - finally!

I am a long time fan of Penny Reid and thoroughly enjoyed Isaac and Hannah’s book at last. It was wonderful to be back in Green Valley, TN. Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley were amazing narrators as usual!
