Kenzie made a deal with the foxes to live with them for six months in exchange for the potion that saved her sister's life. What she didn't expect was how much it felt like home, more than the house she'd lived in her entire life. But this agreement doesn't change the one she made with the Alpha of the West Coast Pride - and it isn't humans breaking into his warehouses, but something much, much worse.

Contains mature themes.

I absolutely love the Council of Paranormals World. I am doing a complete “reread” in order. I think this is the third time I have read this particular trilogy this year.

Can not get enough of this world

this instalment was slower plot wise than the first one but still good. I can tell there are a lot of side characters introduced that will eventually (or do now I haven't looked) have stories of their own. My one complaint is still the narrator. She just doesn't put the correct emphasis or inflection into dialogue and it leaves a disconnect.

Slower than #1

Good story, sucks you right in but the female narration of the male POV isn't good. No change in voice/tone.

Engaging story but male POV ruined by narration

Great to see McKenzie and Ash relationship expanded in this second book. Good to see Hunter and Ash. We’re opening up to McKenzie. Good to finally figure out what McKenzie’s which part entailed. Can’t wait to the final book in this trilogy.

A great second book and the sequel
