This was a amazing story. It is two in the series and was a great addition. The narrator did a amazing job of the characters Toro, Jaeger and Cynder. Amazing

a nice story

I put off buying this book for quite a while as I usually don't purchase books this short. It does have a good story line with some character development. I will be buying the next book but not start any of her other series as I like longer better developed stories

A Good Story!

Full of feelings and love, this story warms the heart.
Loved this second book of this series. To see the characters grow and learn to love and live is awesome. I can't wait for the next one! So very good!!!

Great series

One of my top five stories are abou t sy/fi romance with a good helping of steamy sexy scenes. These characters are great strong and Susan brings them to life. The narrator does a great job also of bringing the story life. Great job. I will keep going on this series.

cyborg love

I think I liked this story even better than book 1. Short but entertaining.
Toro and Jaeger are so lovable and perfect for Cynder. Their relationship evolves quite rapidly but not without bumps. Their each deal with the effects of their time in the war and as they get to know one another they also heal each other.
I enjoyed listening to Ms. Wilder's narration again, she has a warm voice with the right pitch for each character and emotion.
