More of a political commentary, then sci-fi

I have read/listened to every book rick partlow has written. he is a good writer, but this book was so busy taking our current political issues and cramming it into the story line, that it forgot it was a sci-fi novel. It was a very thinly vailed political commentary that pulled me out of the story over and over again. by the end, you will have no doubt about which political party he supports. I'm just disappointed, It ruined this book for me.

The storyline

The honor aspects were explained so that I could understand them. some of the character's voices kind of sounded similar so if the context wasn't there, I didn't really know who was speaking a couple of times.

Humor, Space Adventure, Romance, and military drama

Loved the entire series, really enjoyed the writer and the actors reading of each character. Some fantasy but the fighting and story were very believable. I’ll be looking forward to reading more from this author.

Great story! Funny and action packed.

The story itself is a great mix of humor and action. Plus the science part is much more believable than most authors.

The narration performance is definitely among the top 3 narrators I’ve heard.
