I loved the story of the book and how the ups and downs were somewhat exciting like for example when Mr.Leeland was going crazy at the end

I enjoy reading books with a child’s voice from a child’s innocent point of view. And a little dog named Shush becomes the young protagonist’s loving companion when her “normal” existence crumbles down around her.

I wish I could have read King Cole’s book with those wise sayings he learned during his life.

This is a story filled with “sweetness,” and Sugar May Cole is a darling!

I absolutely loved this story and I will start to check out more of the books from this author. My fav part was when Reba stood on Mr. Leland I wanted her to do that the whole book.. yours very truly Olivia
