Loved it! Thought is was great that the adulterous husband did not get part owner of the quilt shop. Was happy that Bonnie and Clair made up and remained friends.

Enjoyable Read

I'll keep saying it. I love these stories. They are not heavy reading (listening?) by any means and that's why I love them. This one made me want to make a quilt in the Hawaiin way. Will I? Doesn't matter. Nice listen.
Kudos to the reader too. I know which character she is now from book to book. Very cool.

Nice history of Hawaiin quilts too

For the love of Pete, PLEASE, PLEASE learn how to pronounce Hawaiian words and names correctly!!!! You trashed my name, location names, our late Queen's name over and over. To all narrarators, no matter what language is used from a location, learn how to pronounce it properly!

the book brought back fond memories of growing up in Hawaii.

Would you consider the audio edition of Aloha Quilt to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version.

What about Christina Moore’s performance did you like?

Christina does an excellent job of bringing the story to life with distinct character voices.

Any additional comments?

This is one of my favorite Elm Creek Quilt books. I have read all of them so far and this one teaches you how to make a true Hawaiian style quilt while weaving a real life story of dealing with personal challenges and making decisions that make life more fullfilling!
