A heart-pounding survival adventure that will keep listeners on the edge of their seat.

When a tragic plane crash leaves 12-year-old Aidan Riley as the sole survivor, he finds himself alone in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness with nothing but a backpack of basic supplies—and his faith. Facing freezing temperatures, dangerous wildlife, and the crushing weight of grief, Aidan must learn to survive on his own.

As days turn into weeks and winter closes in, he builds shelter, finds food, and even befriends a wild bald eagle. With courage, resourcefulness, and a deepening trust in God, Aidan discovers strength he never knew he had. But will it be enough to stay alive long enough to be rescued?

Alone in the Wild is a gripping story of survival, faith, and the unbreakable spirit of a boy who refuses to give up. Perfect for listeners who love wilderness adventures, survival stories, and inspirational journeys of hope and perseverance.

Gripping stuff. Short but full of emotion Nicholson’s make it a great listen. His tone is steady but intense. It locks you into that frozen isolation and keeps the suspense taut.

I don’t usually listen to survival books, but I’m glad I tried this one. It wasn’t just about action, it had a calm pace and a thoughtful story. The faith part added a layer that made it stand out. I liked the way everything unfolded slowly, letting the character grow naturally.

This audiobook really pulled me in. It’s the story of a boy stranded alone in the Alaskan wilderness, and it feels incredibly real—no over-the-top drama, just raw survival. You feel the cold, the fear, and the loneliness right alongside him.

The narration was great too. It matched the tone of the story perfectly—calm when needed, intense when things got dangerous. Nothing felt forced.

What I liked most was how honest it all felt. It’s not just about surviving the wild—it’s about battling doubt, fear, and finding strength when you think you’ve got nothing left.

If you enjoy survival stories that feel true and hit emotionally, this one’s worth your time.

Gripping, honest, and surprisingly moving.

This story is a fantastic listen for both kids and adults. I enjoyed the audiobook with my nieces, and they were completely drawn in. Twelve-year-old Aiden’s determination to endure the harsh Alaskan winter is truly inspiring. I’m so glad we found this book, and I’ll be recommending it to other young listeners as well.
