It’s messy and aggressive and… hot as hell. The whole situation is laced with danger and it draws her in. The man left standing is the one she’d just met in the refrigerated section. That made him all the more enticing. Despite what they both know about each other and themselves - that this can never be - the pull between them is magnetic. Addisyn needs his power and danger. Inigo is intrigued by this human woman and her scent drives him crazy. Too much keeps them apart, but can they overcome it all to accept their fate?

i wish for once paranormal authors would have an actual original idea for the world they're building. one that doesn't involve "packs" and "counsels" and all these hidden world politics and prejudices. You've read one, you've read them all.
I've only seen it done once in the Wolf's Hour.
Sadly, this author had potential with the heroine's back story. that was actually interesting and relatable. the rest? Too many characters, none of them significant in any way. Might as well be writing about the amish mafia. at least then it would be funny and different. instead, this is just another multi-species shifter story, too many critters, too many names to keep up with. none of them spark any kind of care of concern. i can already guess the ending.

I guess there's a market for it, but i have no interest in finishing this one.
