My goal was to help Dad, and get back to my life. But what am I supposed to do when the life that used to strangle me suddenly fits like a glove, and makes me dream of things I never thought I’d have? I don’t have room for a man, much less love. Right? Because it’s impossible to hold onto someone who’s already gone.

Tucker and Scarlet

I was scared when I started this one. I wasn’t sure I would like Scarlet. She seemed a little abrasive. You made me love her. The relationship with Tucker made her into such a better person. I adored Tucker and Chloe. I did want to slap both of them towards the end, but they pulled it through. Great story of friendship evolving into love.
