Excerpt: Armed with a little more information than I’d had to start with, I clicked off the Internet and checked my e-mail, surprised when over twenty messages showed up in my mailbox. Then, I saw the subject lines and wanted to scream with frustration. They all read: I’m watching you. In anger, I started to delete them all, but stopped myself just in time. Maybe it was something the police could use. There was no return address listed, but there was a jumble of letters in the “from” column.
