My grandmother passed away from Alzheimers about 10 years ago, and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. My mother, took her in and cared for her after my grandfather died, and I saw how she lived through the ordeal. We helped, but I know the burden this disease is. I know the toll it has, and I know that when it fnally ends you feel like you have just come out of a war, and suffer from PTSD. It is so draining. Jane John-Nwankwo details what Alzheimers is, and how to care for those afflicted with it very well. You can see that she has dealt with patients like this for a number of years, and her advice is sound. it is a great guide for anyone who has a loved one who suffers from Alzheimers, and might be planning (or have to) care for them on their own.

Clinger narrate clearly, and easily translates the written word into the spoken so that listening to him is easy and uncomplicated.

Great advice for anyone dealing with Alzheimers

The narrator is unable to read complete, intelligible sentences. He, instead, reads in phrases and pauses at inappropriate times. It is impossible to listen to this book and take much away or gain any knowledge regarding caregiving for Alzheimer’s patients as it is too painful to listen to.

Narration is so choppy it’s incomprehensible

As a Nurse, I was excited to read a book by a Nurse. The artificial speech pattern was difficult to listen to, poorly put together and did not match my knowledge base often enough to give the book much credibilty

Don't bother
