Have you ever wondered, “Am I really saved?” Unfortunately, there are many Christians today, even with all the resources at hand, who are unsure what the Bible says about salvation. What’s more, many are uncertain about their own personal salvation. I didn’t begin this study intentionally, but while completing another study regarding eternal security, it became necessary to first define what salvation is before discussing if it can be lost or not. This writing is an in-depth review of what the Bible says salvation is, how you receive it, and how to be sure based on Scripture.

You need to know what salvation is, based on God's Word, and to have complete confidence in your walk with God and the certainty of your eternal destiny. Many people who call themselves Christians say they are saved and believe in God, but do not live the full life that God desires for them, nor do they walk in His promises. A popular verse quoted in today’s society is Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, which states, " For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” However, the Scripture then goes on to say, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. I will be found by you."

God not only has salvation in store and ready for us, but He also provides hope and a future when we follow His Word and seek Him with all of our hearts. This truth has powerful implications in our daily lives, as well as where we will spend eternity. We have all sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but God has provided salvation for all who accept it. Christian Living Spiritual Growth Christianity
