Among the Secrets

Kamillia; My life was never easy. I only survived this long because my best friend has an amazing family who took me in as one of their own when things would get bad. After years of bouncing back and forth, my mom kicked me out. That’s what makes keeping such a big secret from everyone that much harder. It’s not like I meant to fall in love with their son, but it was our choice to not tell them even when we started getting threats because of our relationship.

Callahan; I love Kam and her daughter, Riley with everything I have, but I also want to be in the same motorcycle club as the rest of my family. In order to do that I have to keep a few little secrets. It’s only a couple of months. It shouldn’t be hard since we have done it this long. Now that Kam’s safety is in question I’m worried I didn’t make the right decision. All the choices we have made led to more love, loss, tears, pain, and opportunities than I could have predicted, but were the secrets worth it all?
