In the heart of Whispering Pines, where emotions have long been held captive, a tale of rekindled love and hidden family secrets unfolds amidst the magic of Christmas.

For nearly half a century, Ava Fisher has carried the weight of unspoken feelings for her childhood best friend. Now entering their twilight years, can they find the courage to mend old wounds and rekindle a love that has smoldered in the shadows?

Marcus Duncan has vowed to shun romance to protect his heart after seeing how devastated his father was after his mother’s passing. As he closes out his father’s estate in Scotland, a startling revelation sends him on a quest to Whispering Pines. Could the truth of his mother’s Amish roots offer the answers he seeks about her identity?

Sachia Bachman, a grieving orphan, finds solace in Ava's comforting presence as Ava becomes a maternal guide through Sachia's journey to find love. Unexpectedly, a stranger from Scotland requires Sachia's assistance to unite his grandfather with Ava. Can an Englischer unlock the mysteries of love in this tranquil Amish settlement?

This Christmas, join Sylvia Price on an enchanting journey through the snow-covered evergreens of Whispering Pines. Allow her to warm your heart with a story of love's reawakening, newfound affection, and the rekindling of old flames in a place where holiday miracles are known to happen.

AI is incapable of differentiating between the accents that should be used in this , or other stories involving one accent. The Amish books require at least English and German/Dutch. This book added in Scottish. Hearing the many mispronunciations was extremely distracting from the enjoyment of this book.

AI is wrong for this type of story

The story was good. The virtual voice was a deterrent in that it was unable to pronounce the words and names of different languages or accents correctly making it a distraction.
