What a fun series of fun and lovable characters! Emily Cherry is believable and charming.

Simple But Sweet Mysteries

The mysteries were predictable but interesting. Emily Cherry is the grandmother everyone wants, full of life and curiosity - complete with cat! Fun and easy to follow.

Overall a cute story

Overall this is a cute story. Easy listening. But the old lady voices of this narration is just irritating. This would be so good in normal voices. I could t even get through the first part. The narrators idea of what a retired lady sounds like makes you not even able to hear the story. Sorry. No reflection on the story, sounds like 90 year olds but keeps repeating , just retired widow. Will be returning the lot. .

Cute mystery

This book is well written about a retiree that is finding her way after becoming a widow and stumbles on a few crimes and helps solve them.

Cute, but overall just ok

Maybe I didn’t do enough research, but to have a British story narrated by someone with a midwest American accent was highly disappointing. These were cute stories that were overall unique from each other. There was some plot repetition where I thought the author could’ve been more imaginative. The main character, Emily, was okay. Most other characters were a great additions to the stories.
