author narrated book is right to the point

I enjoyed Bishop Barron's book. Whether your are new to the faith or very confident in your prayer life, this book is a fresh perspective on the main tenets of prayer. Easy to understand.

Excellent introduction to prayer!

This is a well thought out introduction to prayer and a deep dive into the types and practices of prayer that lead one into a deep abiding love in and with God. Bishop Barron discusses plenty of paths that lead to beatitude. Follow these paths on your sojourn to our Lord, Jesus Christ. If you simply follows this plan of prayer, it will be almost impossible not to become holy. God love you.

Top of my recommendation list on prayer!

I really appreciated the way this book breaks down and explains the different types of prayer. The explanations are clear, thoughtful, and easy to understand. Since I wasn’t raised Catholic, many of these prayers—and the reasons behind them—have always been a bit of a mystery to me, and they weren’t fully explained in RCIA. I’ve been praying that God would lead me to resources that deepen my understanding of prayer, the Holy Spirit, and who He truly is. This book has been an answer to that prayer, and it’s now at the top of my list of recommendations. In fact, I’ve already recommended it to my sister.

Practicality and Easy to Understand

Very easy to implement and does not confuse the reader. Other books can easily add to scrupulosity and confusion while this deepens the relationship with God easily.

Everything about Prayer!

Subject, pace, clarity, confidence are perfect!.... Such an engaging read! Good for those curious about "why pray" to the fortunates who are well on The Way. This audio book is in the very top 5 of all my library. Easy listen in whole or part.
