Amazing!

An Officer’s Genesis completely pulled me in from the start. What I loved most was how real William Culpepper’s journey felt. He does not step into leadership fully formed. You see the mistakes, the uncertainty, the pressure, and the steady growth that shapes him into someone worthy of command. That progression felt earned, not rushed.

The historical detail is immersive without being overwhelming. The battle scenes are intense and vivid, but what stayed with me most were the personal moments. The loyalty, the internal conflict, the weight of responsibility all felt genuine and human.
