Tour of ancient Mediterranean history.

Egypt definitely gets the short straw and is the most glossed over of the three. Honestly, I doubt existing enthusiasts of any of these three ancient cultures will find anything to like here, as it’s not in-depth enough to satisfy.

great audiobook

Very educational and entertaining. It is well written and very important for my history subjects. Anyone who enjoys understanding history will enjoy this audiobook.

I had to read this for a class called the Ancient Mediterranean World. As textbooks go, it was relatively easy to understand.

I love history

I love history, and this book gives a very unique perspective about subjects not often covered in depth. If you want to learn more than the hit track, this is for you.

A bit thin in places but this history is a wonderful overview of ancient Mediterranean history. A good introduction or refresher to people like me who have not read up on ancient western history for what seems like millennia.
