I Enjoyed It

I enjoyed this book. I liked that this second chance romance isn't because the couple parted somehow, yet reconnect and try again later. In 1887, Zane knew Vanessa was his fated one, but her father disapproved and sent her away to be married to someone else, where she lived a full life and eventually died. Now, vampire Zane hires Vanessa after she auditions to sing at his nightclub. He recognizes his lost love in her, but senses something more. She is equally drawn to him and is unaware of supernatural beings.

I listened to this audiobook narrated by Megan Reedy. I love the different accents she uses for different characters. I prefer a male narrator for the male roles as I find it harder for a female narrator to convincingly pull off a male character, but I liked her accents enough that I quickly got over it. lol

Wow!

My first experience with an audiobook and all I can say is WOW! A beautiful storyline that took me to another world! Zane and Vanessa are strong and complex characters that journey through many obstacles, twists, and turns. Highly recommended! KC Wilde has chosen a wonderful, expressive narrator that added to this adventure!.

Great audiobook

Wow this is a great audiobook I'm happy I got it because like reading sometimes reading it again you get something you may have missed the first time I really enjoyed this story and the Narrator did a great job telling this story.

An amazing read

I had already read this as an e-book, but when it came out in Audible, I had to find out what it was like to have it narrated and I have to say that the narration was great. I really like the accent of the narrator she did an amazing job narrating the book also, the story was great, just gotta love a vampire and love you. Fall in love with the characters and the world building is incredible. It just draws you into the story and makes you care about the characters. It was a definite page turner. It is a must read for anybody that loves this gentry and I would highly definitely, recommend this book. Thanks for the great story.

Zane is a vampire and Vanessa is a Fae. they are the main characters in the story and the love story with those two is so wonderful following their love story and their adventure was just heartwarming and the end of the book will just make your heart melt. I won’t give you any spoilers, but you’re going to love the end of the book, it actually made my eyes tear
This is a must read. Oh it is definitely a page Turner and I would definitely recommend this book with a little hold and maybe the author will continue their story and possibly make it a series or at least another book to tell little more about what happens.

I left this review for the e-book. I’d like it so much that I wanted to try it in audio it was amazing. It was so easy to just sit back and listen to the narrator and image the story in your mind and relax the narrator did a terrific job and I just love her accent, great job narrator and thanks for a wonderful read to the author

Loved it!!

This book was charming and a page-turner. The characters were well-written. The supernatural aspects were so interesting. I would recommend this book to vampire lovers.
