There's always time for another cup.

Twenty Eight haiku, a cat named Miri, a ghost named Roger, a vampire named Vlad, and about a gallon of tea populate the pages of this second collection of poignancy and silliness from the author of P.A.W.S.

Summary:
A short collection of random short stories. Most are fiction, but there’s at least one nonfiction in here.

Additional Comments:
- This is a whirlwind tour of random. You’ll meet cats, ghosts, teapots, coffee pots, gargoyles, vampires, and the author.
- The narrator’s as good as always. She has a nice voice and a decent range of voices to bring to the characters.
- Delightful. Kid-safe, but not aimed at kids. One curse word.
- Given the length. It’s probably better to just buy it outright.

Conclusion:
Worth checking out if you like clean short stories.

Having listened to the previous installment, I decided to check out this one to see if it had the same soothing vibes as the last one. Overall, it did, though I do need to give a shoutout to what I felt to be the best and most emotionally trying story in the book, the Big C. As you might guess, it's about a breast cancer diagnosis, and though it all seems to end well it can be a touch poignant to listen to, even as I struggled to relate to being so attached to one's breasts that one wouldn't want to chop them off (the joys of being genderqueer).

Humorwise, I enjoyed the Bertand and Bob stories, along with the Humpty Dumpty one, the vampire one, and the bunny one. Good to have in the background as you do chores or handicrafts like I was.

A good way to pass the time with a task

I like this story about a cat, ghost, and mysteries. It started off sad for the cat and lost me in the middle but it put it all together and kept me interested. It is a short story but that is what makes it good in my opinion.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Its okay
