Critic reviews

"What sets it apart is the lyricism of the narrative, and Syvia's credible childlike voice, maturing with each chapter, as she gains further understanding of the events around her." ( Publishers Weekly)

I really enjoyed this story. Christina Moore is one of my favorite narrators. Janette Oke’s writing keeps growing, maybe it’s because of the co-authors she’s been teaming up with but for whatever reason this book was fantastic. Wonderful story!
