This narrator reads like a kindergarten teacher, or a condescending preacher. Unfortunately, I had to listen to this for school, but his style of reading is tortuous. I recommend you find a different narrator.

The novel is okay, but it is difficult to connect with the author's emotion through the horrible narration.
