The red plague has devastated the human race, turning billions of people into zombies with red eyes and an insatiable hunger for human flesh.

The only known cure to the 212R virus is locked inside of Ben Sawyer. To get it out, seventeen-year-old Maya Solomon and a group of survivors will take him on a journey to what may be the last bastion of human civilization: Camp Carson, Virginia.

This book was as bad as the first book -- there were very few redeeming parts. I read other reviews that said the last two books were better and this one I can say was not. Maya must be the most lucky SJW in the world because she manages to survive while being an idiot. She still complains about guns in this book but finally uses one -- on a person instead of a zombie. And she's not conflicted about this because the person in question was doing horrible things. Really? So, guns only upset you when it's other people using them? She is so traumatized by another event with a gun that she did not witness that she rages on about the people using them on ZOMBIES but she can use one on a person. Perfect. What a hypocrite.

Also, the narration on this is just as bad as the first book. Again, that narrator does a great job with other characters -- it's just the way the whiny SJW is written.
