Dalia Dupris has written a compelling story that has surprising complexity and depth. This is book 2 in her California Heart series and the main character is Morgan, a woman who avoids commitment at all cost. She has a French liver and meets a doctor while vacationing in South Africa. Ultimately this novel is about the definition of family and friends and overcoming obstacles. Excellent story structure. You will laugh and cry. Great plot twists!
