The year is 1962, and there are Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles in Cuba, but these aren’t Russian missiles. In this alternate universe, Nazi Germany survived WW2 intact and has grown into a nuclear power to rival the US.

The trigger for a nuclear war will depend on what happens when American and German nuclear-powered submarines cross paths off the US East Coast. President Kennedy thinks Hitler’s successor, Adenauer, can be reasoned with to avoid nuclear escalation, but the Third Reich’s Supreme Leader has a technological ace up his sleeve-one that involves the manipulation of time, and he is quite willing to roll the dice on a nuclear war.

What both leaders don’t realize yet is that their timeline is not the only one and that their countries are mere pawns on a chessboard that spans hundreds of parallel universes. Armageddon Alley chronicles the tense opening moves in the Cross-Time Wars saga.

Interesting book and engaging story. I have a big problem with how Robert McNamara was portrayed. McNamara was a micromanager and an idiot. He is primarily responsible for the piss poor handling of the Vietnam War and he would have not been able to handle the situations in this book. He was no genius

McNamara would have screwed up
