Enjoyable look at Old World Rituals

I enjoyed the read. Insightful & informative. Unique perspective & an honest look at how rituals crossed the ocean from the old world & were altered by new world economics. I learned a great deal about my favorite holiday, Christmas. So very glad I found this book.

I love the Von Trapp family!

I love the Von Trapp family and everything they stood for. Though I am not catholic, I found all of the information intriguing and important. I am wanting to read the full biography of the family so this was a good preview on their family life and traditions.

Narrator good. This is a book that would be more relevant to Roman Catholics. Lots of references to saints prayed too, rosary, etc Interesting Catholic traditions.
