Even better than the first time I read this book!

Listening to the audiobook was amazing. And once again it taught me the correct pronunciations of some words, lol.

The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life and I highly enjoyed the accents. I had it playing in my vehicle while driving and my dad made fun of it (in a good way, lol) as he rode with me.

I love the swoon, banter, and redemption in this story. Helena may have been one of my least favorite characters in the series but ever since I have read this book she is one of my favorites.

Joy to listen

This clean fairytale of Robin Hood with a hint of Princess Bride was a joy to listen to. I loved the way the characters grew as the story progressed, and the tension that built to a swashbuckling finish! The way the Prince was always true to his love was so sweet, and the happy ending with the extra glimpses at the end of things to come made me excited for more from this wonderful author! I really enjoyed the narrator! She did an amazing job with all of the voices, accents, and moods!

This was such a fun Robin Hood and Snow White retelling. It is also a Rose Red retelling, though I am unfamiliar with that fairytale.I loved the archery aspects, outlaws, the characters and hidden identities. There were plot twists toward the end I didn't see coming.

I also enjoyed Elena's growth and healing throughout the story. It was beautifully done.

I thought the narrator did a good job.

I would recommend this clean romantasy to anyone looking for a fairytale/legend retelling with light magic use.

Great story

I really enjoyed this fairytale retelling mashup. I really liked the characters, hidden ideas and all of the twist and turns were really fun and they kept me guessing what was going to happen next. I also like the character development and pace of the story.

Just as amazing and thrilling as the first time I read it. I am a sucker for a good robinhood retelling and Erin and Elaine do not disappoint. I loved listening to this story and getting to feel like I'm right there next to Helena and Cap. They are both stubborn people with something they’re hiding. But can they overcome past hurts to be together? Elaine did an amazing job narrating, simply superb! Definitely still my favorite book by Erin. I will read it a million times.
